Moar Luster!

I decided to see what would happen if I stamped Konad’s shiny gold stamping polish over my mega-shiny glittery Essie topcoat bonanza.

The stamping isn’t visible, probably because the glitter coats are dispersing too much light and the Konad gold is pale and also shimmery. But what I ended up with was even more luster than before. Like ZING ZANG KAPOW! It’s like a crazy light show.

I’m a bit worried that I’ve set myself down an all-consuming path in pursuit of more and more light play, and my thirst for more glimmer may never be satisfied. My hands will become a cautionary tale like Michael Jackson’s nose. Or like one of those girls who says, “maybe just a small tattoo on my ankle” and then a year later she’s getting her date of birth inscribed on her neck in full ghetto graffiti word art.

I think tomorrow I’ll end the hypnosis and go the opposite direction. Matte, to break the spell.

But come on! Look how shiny!!
