L’Oreal Brit Invasion #NOTD

I found this pretty little thing at Target, after a disappointing perusal of the rest of the nail polish racks.  I don’t usually pick up brands like L’Oreal and Revlon, because frankly I find their prices to be a bit high for the formulation.  If I can spend $7 for a lovely China Glaze with a flawless formula, I don’t want to spend $6 for a mediocre L’Oreal or Revlon formula.

And as an aside, when I say this was a disappointing perusal of Target’s selection, I mean it.  We’re in that weird gap between beautiful bright summer c0lors and new fall/winter collections and MAN O MANGO I just couldn’t care less about what’s out there right now.

Anyway, this is L’Oreal’s Brit Invasion, a lovely warm brown with a rich gold shimmer.  It’s like hot cocoa by firelight.  I wish the sun was out so I could show it in direct natural light.  It really is beautiful, the only thing in the entire selection worth picking up this week.
