Crow’s Toes “Triple Black Diamond”

Crow’s Toes “Triple Black Diamond.” Tricky formula on this one. Unlike Butter London “The Black Knight” and Zoya “Storm,” this one doesn’t have a black tinted base. It’s clear, and the black pigment is in the opaque black glitter. I ended up doing a base of Sally Hansen CSM “Black Platinum,” 2 coats of “Triple Black Diamond,” and 2 coats of CND Vinylux top coat to get the finish smooth. Amazing sparkle that’s tough to photograph like all glitter polishes. But definitely fussier than I expected.

Dupe-fest Swatcharama time. L to R below: Crow’s Toes “Triple Black Diamond, Butter London “The Black Knight,” and Zoya “Storm.” No dupes here. You can see how TBD has a clear base, and TBK’s pink sheen becomes very obvious on comparison. Storm’s itty bitty teeny tiny glitter is subtle by comparison but it has the best formula of the three and applies like butter.
